What “Verified Supplier” actually means
On Sentrick, verification is a listing gate — a defined set of checks a supplier and product must pass before they can appear in the marketplace. It is meant to make the badge meaningful, not decorative. Here is exactly what it does and does not represent.
What verification covers
- An approved, exact product revision — approval never carries across revisions or markets.
- Current, accepted evidence (certifications, labels, specifications) versioned and bound to that revision.
- An active supplier account and subscription in good standing.
- Acknowledged product liability and explicit market approval for where it is sold.
- No active safety, recall, or compliance holds on the product or supplier.
What it does not cover
- A guarantee, endorsement, or warranty by Sentrick of any product or shipment.
- Continuous testing of every lot, batch, or delivery after listing.
- Responsibility for supplier claims, ingredients, allergens, or labeling accuracy.
- Regulatory filings, certifications, or approvals issued by Sentrick itself.
Evidence & versioning
Documents are exact and versioned
Certifications, labels, and specifications are attached as versioned evidence bound to a specific product revision and market. Replacing a document creates a new version while the prior one is preserved. If a product changes, its approval does not automatically follow — it must be re-qualified. This keeps the record precise and auditable.
